Dipsan to led the National Junior Men's hockey team as captain

Bhubaneswar : Odia boy Dipsan Tirkey will lead the 18-member Indian Junior men U-23 hockey team., while Hardik Singh will shoulder the duties of Vice-Captain, which was announced by Hockey India on Monday. Total three Odia players were named in the team. Other two players are defender Nilam Sanjip Xess and forward Silananda Lakra. The team will take part in the upcoming U23 Six Nations Tournament to be held from July 14 to 21 at Antwerp, Belgium. The Indian team is scheduled to play a total of five round-robin matches against Ireland, Great Britain, Belgium, Malaysia and Netherlands. In the opening match India will face Ireland on July 14. The top two teams at the end of the round-robin matches will face each other in the Final on July 21 whereas the remaining teams will play classification matches.
