V V Karate school bag 20 medals in National Karate

Bhubaneswar : A 14-member V V Karate School bagged 20 medals which including 10 gold, 4 silver and six bronze medals in the two-day Mawate Ka-Shito Ryu National and International Karate Championships, which concluded at J J Stadium in Chennai on July 29.

The students of Odisha’s ace karateka Valena Valentina proved their mettle again and agin in the national platform. While she won gold in individual kata, her students, Chinmaya Subudhi, Bidya Kiran, and Divyak Nayak grabbed double gold medal each in their respective categories.
