Odisha, Tripura share points in Ranji inaugural

Bhubaneswar : Host Odishs and Tripura gathered a point each in the rain disturbed group-C Ranji Trophy league match, which ended in a draw at Vikash Ground in the city outskirt here on Monday.

In reply to modest first innings total 194 for eight declared by Tripura, Odisha scored 18 for 1 at the close of fourth and final day.

Bose hits 14 boundaries and five sixes in his 151-balls 104 knock was adjudged as the man of the match. In the process Bose was stitched 83-run for the fourth wicket with Yaspal Singh. Resuming at the overnight score of six for no loss, Tripura was declared the first innings 194 for 8.

The maximum damaged caused by Dhiraj, who pocketed five for 55 runs. While simmer Suryakant Pradhan scalped two wickets for 35 runs.
