Odisha beat Tripura in East Zone Women ODI

Bhubaneswar : The all-round performance by Subhra Nirjharini Swain, who scored unbeaten 29 runs and scalped two wickets for 17 runs, guided Odisha to win over Tripura by 127 runs in their inaugural in the U-19 Women’s Inter State One-Day East Zone League:2017-18 at Ranchi on Friday. With the win Odisha gathered four points

Batting first, Odisha opener Rasmita Chinhara (47) and Kajaol Jena (69) was set a platform for the team by putting a 85 run opening partnership.while all rounder Suhra and Kalpana Nayak were remain unbeaten by scoring 23 and 29 runs respectively. With the combined batting effort by the top order batswoman the Odisha was scored a massive 218 for 3.

In reply, Tripura was got early set back and lost wickets in regular intervals. Subhra and Kalpana Nayak were bagged two wickets each and Tripura all out for 91 runs.
