AIKF to conduct talent hunt for Pro Kabaddi League

Bhubaneswar : Ahead of the sixth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), the All India Kabaddi Federation (AIKF) in association with Star Sports will conduct a two day talent hunt program for players and officials at Sachin Tendulkar Indoor Hall in Cuttack on March 26 to 27, informed Odisha Kabaddi Association general secretary Ajay Kumar Behera.

AIKF added five more cities Imphal, Trissur, Patna, Ahmedabad, including Bhubaneswar, to unearth new players ahead of the auctions. Such scouting to be held in 18 cities of the country.

The men players aged in between 18-22 years will be eligible to take part in the program, similarly, the officials age limit will be 20-40 years.

In last edition, a similar programme received a response from over 4,600 participants and post a three-stage selection process, 133 players finally made it to the players’ auction pool. .
