Cambridge school enter PVR Murthy cricket quarterfinals

Bhubaneswar : A five-wicket haul by Sahil Ullah helped Cambridge School of Cuttack to edge out Railway Settlement School by nine wickets and entered the quarterfinals of the 13th PVR Murthy Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament at BOSE Ground in Cuttack on Friday.

Being invited to bat first, Railway school was bowled out for 37 in 11 overs. Sahil was the most successful bowler for Cambridge, picking five wickets for two. While, Masood Ahmad, Nitish Kaushik and Dev Das were pocketed a wicket each. In reply, Cambridge reached the winning target in 7.3 overs for the loss of one wickets.

Sahil of the winning team adjudged as the man of the match. was the Delhi Public School will face Jobra Municipal High School in the pre-quarterfinal match Saturday.

Brief Score: Railway Settlement School 37/10 in 11 overs ( Suryakant Naik 19: Sahil Ullah 5/2) lost to Cambridge School 39/1 in 7.3 overs (Hetesh Behera 15) by 9 wickets. .
