SHO beat Ananthapur Football Academy in Youth Indian League

Bhubaneswar : Double strike by Arun Minz helped Sports Hostel Odisha (SHO) U-18 team to win over Ananthapur Football Academy by 4-0 in the final league round match of the Youth Indian League at Shillong on Tuesday.

SHO team was scripted one win, a draw and suffered three defeat in their five league round matches, with four points finished fourth in the point table.

Aizwal FC, Tata Football Academy, North Eastern Re Organising Cultural Association (NEROCA), Ananthapur Sports Academy were the teams placed with SHO in the Rest of India Zone Group-A.

In the last league match today, Ananthapur Football Academy team played a dominating football in the first-half and never gave any scoring opportunity to the Sports Hostel Odisha.
,br> After the change of sides, SHO took a different stance substitute Manjit Kisan replaced Laxman Bindhani in the 46th minute. Dillip Lakra opened the account for the team in the 65th minutes.Manjit proved to be luck for the team as he double the lead in the 63rd minutes.

SHO team was forced to play with ten players as Filmon Lakra got a red card in the 70th minute. SHO played like a fighter in the last 20 minutes. Back to back scoring by Arun Minz in the 85th and 87th minutes and took away the match from Ananthapur Football Academy. The final score board read as 4-0. .
