Juvenile to meet Rameswar in Rameswar Cup final

Bhubaneswar : Juvenile Club will face defending champion Rameswar Sporting in the final of the 3rd Rameswar Cup Junior Cricket Tournament at B N High School Ground here on Sunday.

In the semifinal match on Saturday, A 114-ball 98 run by Pankaj Senapati guided Juvenile Club into the final by winning over Rising Students of Cuttack by 131 runs and adjudged as the man of the match.

Being invited to bat first, Juvenile gathered a massive 255 for 8 in 40 overs, with Anil Parida 52. Gyana Acharya was the most successful bowler for Rising Students by picking five wickets for 28 including a hattrick.

In reply, Rising Students lost wickets in regular intervals and bowled out for 124 in 34.5 overs. Prince Sanket Behera was highest scorer for the team with 37 run, while Tejeswar Mohapatra and Binit Mohanty of the winning team pocketed three and two wickets respectively. .
