KISS enter the semifinal of PVR Murthy Cricket

Bhubaneswar : KISS of Bhubaneswar edged out PM Academy by seven wickets and entered the semifinal of the 12th PVR Murthy Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament at BOSE ground in Cuttack on Friday.

Batting first, PM Academy bowled out for 20.5 overs. Ramesh Meleka of KISS bagged the maximum three wickets for nine and adjudged as the man of the match, while Jogibar Tirik, Subash Chandra. Mallick and Anshuman Sinha pocketed two wickets each.

In reply, Amad Majhi was contributed 16-ball 25 and quick fire 9-ball unbeaten 21 run by Saroj Dalai ensure KISS to reach the winning target in seven overs.

In the quarterfinal match on Saturday, Odisha Police High School will face Jobra Municipal High School both Cuttack teams.

Brief Score: P M Academy 75/10 in 20.5 overs (Ramesh Meleka 3/9, Jogibar Tirik 2/3, Subash Chandra. Mallick 2/17, Anshuman Sinha 2/4) lost to KISS 79/3 in 7 overs (Amad Majhi 25, Saroj Dalai 21 n.o; Sarfaraj Khna 2/22) by 7 wickets. .
