Jobra enter PVR Murthy Cricket semis

Bhubaneswar : Brilliant all-round performance by Binayak Sahoo, who scored an unbeaten 60 and scalped two wickets with his bowl and guided Jobra Municipal High School into the semifinal of the 12th PVR Murthy Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament, defeating Odisha Police High School by four wickets at BOSE ground in Cuttack on Saturday. Binayak was bagged man of the match award consecutively for twice for his all-round performance.
Winning the toss Jobra elected to field first, Odisha Police scored 140 for seven in allotted 25 overs with Nitish Muduli’s 49-ball unbeaten 52. Ranjam Nayak and Binayak of the Jobra team bagged rwo wickets each.
In reply, Binayak smashed 68-ball 60 run studded with eight fours and remain till the end and ensure the team to reach the winning target in 23.5 overs for the loss of four wickets.
Brief Score: Jobra Municipal High School 140/7 in 25 overs (Nitish Muduli 52 n,o; Ranjan Nayak 2/16, Binayak Sahoo 2/20) lost to Jobra Municipal High School 144/6 in 23.5 overs (Binayak Sahoo 60 n.o; Soumya Ranjan Singh 33; Saryam Samal 3/27)by 4 wickets. .
