DAV beat DPS in PVR Murthy cricket

Bhubaneswar : The unbeaten 94 runs opening partnership between Sidhath Nayak and Prince Sanket helped DAV Public School CDA to win over DPS Kalinga by perfect 10 wickets in the 12th PVR Murthy Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament at BOSE Ground on Monday.

Batting first, DPS scored 93 for 8 in 25 overs with Anup Kumar Rath scoring highest 45-ball 30 runs. Debi Prasad and Himanshu Sekhar of the DAV team scalped three and two wickets respectively and restricted DPS in a low total.

In reply, opener Sidhant was smashed 35-ball 44 and Prince contributed 32-ball 21 run, both remain till the end and DAV reached the winning target in 11.2 overs without losing a single wicket.

In the group-B match on Tuesday, Cambridge School will face SCB Medical Public School both Cuttack teams.
