Cambridge enter PVR Murthy quarterfinals

Bhubaneswar : Cambridge School edged out SCB Medical Public School by 32 runs and entered the quarterfinals of the 12th PVR Murthy Memorial Inter School Cricket Tournament at BOSE Ground in Cuttack on Tuesday.

Being invited to bat first, Cambridge School scored 150 for 9 in 25 overs with Abhishek Singh and Nitish Kaushik scored 24 and 20 runs.

In reply, Sambit Mohanty and Abhinab Anand of the Cambridge were scalped three wickets each and restricted SCB Medical Public School 118 for 9 in 25 overs.

Abhinav Anand of the winning team adjudged as the man of the match. In the group-B match on Wednesday, New Stewart School will face Stewart School both Cuttack teams.

Brief Score: Cambridge School 150/9 in 25 overs (Abhishek Singh 24, Nitish Kaushik 20) beat SCB Medical Public School 118/9 in 25 overs (T Vijaya 30; Sambit Mohanty 3/15, Abhinab Anand 3/20) by 32 runs. .
