Kabaddi summer camp begins

Bhubaneswar : In a bid to promote the indigenous sports kabaddi among the young generation Coach Sanhita Dash in association with Young Sporting Club is organizing a 17-day Kabaddi Summer coaching camp at Kalinga Stadium here from May 5 to 21.

As many as 50 players including 30 girls in between the age of 12-18 are participating in the camp. The camp will help campers learn basic and technique of the sports. Rashmita Sahu, Subhadra Mallick, and Sradhanjali Panda are the senior players who are in the camp also guide the new campers.

As our State is all set to host the 2nd women premier kabaddi league in the month of June. This camp will help us to improve our skill as well as make our self fit for the league, said Sradhanjali.

Sports Department Technical Committee member Amiya Kumar Mishra and the coaches of Sports department were present .
